It is a metal cable-stayed arch bridge; the project contemplates a structural steel arch and concrete deck. the length of the bridge is 105.05 m and its width is 9.10 m. the arch has a rectangular box section. as a brace for the arches, tubular section steel diagonals have been provided. full-web steel beams have been provided as tie-beam. the tie beams will be connected by full web steel beams every 5;253 mm and at the same time will serve as support for the secondary beams that support the concrete slab. the deck is made up of a solid slab 200 mm thick supported on the steel beams described above. a 50mm thick asphalt layer has been planned on the concrete slab. the substructure is made up of reinforced concrete abutments. 200 mm thick approach slabs have been planned for the approaches to the bridge. the foundation of the abutments will be reinforced concrete and will have a foundation level equal to the existing project. the use of cyclopean concrete will be considered to reach the level recommended by the pertinent studies, as is the case of the soil study.
