Construction development of a pile. this is a constructive element used for the foundation of works; which allows loads to be transferred to a resistant layer of the soil; when it is at such a depth that it makes it unfeasible; technically or financially; a more conventional foundation using footings or slabs. it has the shape of a column placed vertically inside the ground on which the element that transmits the loads rests (pillar, pile cap, slab...) and which transmits the load to the ground due to friction between the shaft and the ground; supporting the tip in more resistant layers or by both methods at the same time. includes plan and sections with dimensions and technical specifications.
