This wedding chapel is in the hotel garden; "beautiful view sakaigahama;" in onomichi; hiroshima. the site is located midway up a hill with a panoramic view of japan's inland sea. interlocking two spiral staircases; we made a stable building; of unprecedented composition and that architecturally embodies the act of marriage in a pure form. a single spiral staircase would be unstable in a horizontal direction and is prone to vibration in a vertical direction; thus; very unstable.
